Pearson Electrical Gets Northern Diver’s New Vessel Ship – Shape

Pearson Electrical has teamed up with Northern Divers to re-wire the company’s new boat, the MV Anne-Marie.

Once launched, the vessel will be put to work on the Humber, helping to keep the waters clear and minimise flood risk to Hull, as well as venturing out on sea inspections around the burgeoning North Sea wind farms.

“Essentially, we’ve re-wired the MV Anne-Marie to bring it into line with work boat regulations, rather than the pleasure boat standards it reflected previously,” said Pearson Electrical MD Mark Pearson.

The re-wiring contract is just the beginning of what promises to be a long-term collaboration between these two specialist marine companies.

The 14-metre long MV Anne-Marie dive vessel has been designed specifically for Northern Divers, for a multitude of commercial uses in environments where minimal maintenance, reliability and safety are paramount. Its incredible strength makes it virtually indestructible and unsinkable, and the ideal solution for river and sea working environments, where a stable and reliable working platform is essential.

This is just one of a string of major contracts being undertaken by fast-growing Clough Road-based firm Pearson Electrical, which specialises in marine, hazardous area and offshore electrical work.

The company also wires new trawlers for Whitby-based ship builder Parkol Marine Engineering; as well as offering electrical fitting and maintenance work to A2SEA, the global company responsible for transporting turbines manufactured at Hull’s Siemens Gamesa plant out to North Sea wind farms.
