NAPIT Joins the e5 Group for 18th Edition Roadshow Events

NAPIT’s senior team, including Chief Executive Mike Andrews, travelled to Northern Ireland and Swansea to join the e5 Group and ETT (Electrical Training Trust) at their 18th Edition launch events.

NAPIT’s Chief Technical Officer, Frank Bertie, and NAPIT’s Technical Development Engineer, Richard Townsend presented seminars on EICR Codebreakers, helping to advise electrical contractors on how to code observations found when carrying out EICRs.

There were also free copies of NAPIT’s industry first publication, Codebreakers, available at both events. This ground breaking guide is soon to be updated in accordance with BS:7671:2018. Pre-orders for the new 18th Edition compliant version of Codebreakers will be available soon.

Both events were attended voluntarily by NAPIT and were free for the public to attend. Visitors were provided with quality information on the new 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and NAPIT’s EICR Codebreakers, as well as having the opportunity to speak directly with NAPIT and e5 Group professionals.

NAPIT Group Chief Executive, Mike Andrews, said “I would like to thank the Electrical Training Trust and the e5 Group for the opportunity to be part of their 18th Edition events in Ireland and Wales to raise awareness of NAPIT, and how we are constantly striving for higher standards within the industry across the UK. We will be joining the e5 Group on more seminar events in the future to help spread our likeminded views on improving industry practises and safety.”
