Schneider Electric expands offering electricians with mySchneider Electrician portal.

Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management, has expanded its offering for electricians with the enhancement of its mySchneider Electrician portal.

Intended for small-to-medium electrical contractors working in the residential and light commercial sectors, the mySchneider Electrician portal provides a free online hub for training, business advice, news and regulatory updates that can be accessed via any desktop or mobile device.

Users of the portal can take advantage of:

  • Advice on how to grow their business
  • Schneider Electric product training and other e-learning resources
  • Company news and product information
  • A locator to identify convenient distributors
  • Customer service and technical assistance

With all these features together in one place, the portal helps electricians to save time with no more searching through various websites to find the right information.

The portal also provides users with the chance to join the Electrician Partner Programme, which offers qualified electricians access to a range of further free benefits and special offers. This includes a complementary welcome pack and exclusive access to the โ€˜My Rewardsโ€™ loyalty scheme, where Partners can collect points on qualifying Schneider product purchases and redeem them on over 20,000 gifts. Registered Partners will also receive invitations to exclusive factory tours, product showcases and focus groups, and will be added to the Electrician Partner Locator on the Schneider UK website, helping consumers to find them more easily.

To date, more than 5,700 electricians have registered on the mySchneider Electrician portal, and 2,700 have become Electrician Partners. Many of these Partners recently participated in successful product test days in Leeds and Coventry, where they had the opportunity to influence a new range of decorative wiring devices.

โ€œAt Schneider Electric weโ€™re always listening to our partners and their feedback is what helps drive innovation in both our products and services. The portal and Partner Programme are an excellent way to facilitate this dialogue with no risk or commitment from usersโ€, said Jocelyn Mottram, Electrician Programme Manager at Schneider Electric.

โ€œWe are constantly developing the portal with new exciting features, including a shop that is set to arrive later this year. We are also looking to expand our offering to electricians in other areas, including the mySchneider Electrician app which launched in June, with the aim of becoming the electricianโ€™s business partner of choice.
