Sontay, the market leader in field control devices will be offering new and improved Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA) courses from January 2018.

In its position as a BCIA training partner, Sontay will be running courses BC0 to BCM06, which will all be taught by a BCIA trainer with the new course material provided by the association.

There are six new courses – BCM01-BCM06 – and cover a range of topics and incorporate the latest technical information from the building controls sector.

The BCIA has created a more interactive learning journey with these courses and ensured that they are available to everyone within the building controls industry. When attendees successfully complete BCM01-BCM03, they will be awarded with a Technical Certificate and an Advanced Technical Certificate when they pass BCM04-BCM06. When students receive their Technical Certificate, they can also take the 17th Edition electrical training course, which will allow them to apply for an Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) Building Controls Integrator Card. This card is proof of identification, competence and qualification levels and vital for gaining access to site.

All courses are held at Sontay’s training facility in Edenbridge, Kent. To find out more information on courses, find suitable dates and make bookings easily and quickly, visit the Sontay Academy website https://www.sontay.com/en-gb/about-us/sontay-academy/
