Lewdenβs range of Isolator Switches meet the stringent requirements of any electrical installation or environment, including hazardous applications, whilst allowing the installer to achieve quick and easy wiring connections.
Products in the range include IP65 rated emergency switches with door locks in yellow or grey plate, either base or back panel mounted, and the newly launched Lewden fire-rated switches.
All products are housed in metal enclosures, ensuring that there will be no distortion to affect the connection of cables and supports.
The Isolator Switch range has a full rated AC3-AC23A category that allows safe operation, even with highly inductive loads.
Manufactured from robust Techno polymer to IP65 and an impact standard of IK10, the units are ideal for damp or harsh environments. The units have also been designed to be slightly wider than standard enclosures which makes it easier to achieve fast wiring connections and the switch is lockable to ensure maximum security against unauthorised access.
The range comes in a variety of rated currents with 2, 3 and 4 pole options and conforms to standards IEC/EN 60947-3, IEC/EN 60947-5-1 and EN 12101-3. The switches will operate in a range of temperatures from -25Β°C to +70Β°C.
