Megaman has expanded its Siena range of integrated downlights.
A replacement for conventional plug-in tube downlights, Siena can provide annual energy savings of up to 51%. Additionally, the new Specular Reflector (SR) and Faceted Reflector (FR) ranges ensure enhanced visual comfort and dimming capabilities.
The integrated Siena LED downlights are available in variants from 12.5W to 35.5W, providing up to 105 lumens per watt and up to 50,000 hours lamp life at L70. Due to Siena’s large range of shapes and sizes and its internal driver, the fixture is easy to install in a retrofit installation where there are pre-existing ceiling hole cut outs.
All Siena ranges can be used as replacement for the conventional 18W or 26W plug-in compact fluorescent tube lights. Also, with a tough polycarbonate body, the IP44 rated fixtures are ideal for installations with high humidity levels.
The new Siena SR and FR ranges also offer low glare aluminium reflector and dimming technology, with an enhanced dimming range from 100% down to 5%.
Furthermore, Siena SR’s Dim to Warm technology is the optimal solution for applications where fixtures have to simulate a traditional halogen, emitting a warmer light when dimmed from 2800 to 1800K. The SR’s polished aluminium specular reflector maximises light throw to the desired point of illumination. This technology is designed to deliver glare control to UGR 19 while maintaining a wide angle and good spacing to height ratio which maintains uniformity with a minimum number of light fixtures.
Siena’s FR’s faceted aluminium reflector has been designed to allow a more controlled distribution of light for installations that need a superior cut off angle such as retail, offices or schools.
