Earlier this year we announced the addition of Thorsman Chemical Fixings products to the Schneider Electric product range. The advanced suite of products comprises high spec sealants, adhesive caulk, expanding foams, ο¬ller, hand wipe, super glue and dispensing guns, all designed with safety and professionalism in mind.
In response to customer feedback, the Thorsman Chemical Fixings range has been developed to withstand all working environments and weather conditions whilst having less impact on the environment. The robust and ο¬exible solutions have been tried and tested by industry experts to ensure they can provide the best ο¬nish for professional tradespeople.
Range highlights
The high quality range provides sealant solutions that effectively solve a variety of different problems for a number of diverse working environments. The advanced Pro One Sealant plays a starring role combining sealing and adhesive properties and has been designed for use in areas requiring a tough elastic rubber joint or as an adhesive with superior bonding strength.
The Pro One is waterproof and offers excellent adhesion to most surfaces (even moist surfaces) which means it is suitable for interior and exterior applications in all weather conditions and it can be over-painted with water-based paint.

The range also includes a rapid drying, interior Decorators Caulk which remains permanently ο¬exible and can be smoothed and over-painted within 1-2 hours of application. It is ideal for sealing and ο¬lling cracks in skirting boards, ceilings, light ο¬ttings and plaster board.
The expanding foam ο¬ller is based on a moisture curing polyurethane pre-polymer.
Quick and easy to apply, the foam improves draught and heat insulation, ο¬lls irregular gaps, ο¬xes framework and deadens sound.
The Multi-purpose hand wipes clean paint, adhesive, sealant, expanding foam, bitumen, oil and grease and come in a handy re-sealable tub (foil sealed to prolong shelf life).
