The course is a City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Domestic, Commercial & Industrial Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation.
Designed for experienced electricians who are interested in expanding or diversifying their business, this course helps installers take advantage of the growing low carbon transport sector. Completing this course will enable candidates to have the requirements and knowledge to make the most of potential consumer demand for low cost alternatives to conventional fuel, tax reductions and incentives going electric can provide.
It’s recommended that candidates are already a member of a Competent Person Scheme or hold a formal inspection and testing qualifications. On successful completion candidates can apply for inclusion on the OLEV (The Office for Low Emission Vehicles) register of competent Electric Vehicle Charging Installers.
A variety of tools and literature, complimentary lunch and refreshments are available for all Premier Training Academy candidates on the day.
