Building Controls Industry Association seeks new Executive Officer

Could you be the next BCIA Executive Officer or do you know someone who would be perfect for the role?

 

The Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA) is seeking to fill the position of Executive Officer due to the retirement of the incumbent. The role is offered on a sub-contract basis with an estimated requirement of up to 80 days per annum.

 

Reporting to the BCIA President and Management Committee, the main purpose of the role is to manage the day to day running (including the financial and administrative activities) of the BCIA. The Executive Officer is responsible for ensuring the activities of the BCIA are conducted in accordance with its constitution, rules, policies and procedures and for reviewing these on a regular basis to ensure they are relevant and up to date.

Other responsibilities include developing a two-year strategic plan consistent with the Association’s aims and objectives; arranging Skills Development, Marketing and Technical Working Group Meetings and working with BCIA partner organisations for the delivery of the annual Awards programme and dinner, training courses and Market Statistics.
