This main beam can be dimmed right down to just 40 lumens, extending its battery life considerably in the process. In addition to the floodlight, is a penetrating 450 lumen spot beam. Supplied in the box is a rechargeable 1100mAh Li-Polymer battery, which of course can be recharged multiple times making it the soundest bet both financially and environmentally. Thanks to the leap forwards in battery technology, you can expect your headtorch to be charged in 3.5 hours, thanks to its quick charging USB-C cable. If however you donβt like the idea of this, or your headtorch runs out of charge, then you can also use 3 x AAA alkaline batteries inside the same body. How clever is that!
Keeping all this technology safe and secure is a tough ABS housing with rubberised coating. This provides shock resistance qualities (rated to IK07) and can be dropped from 2m with confidence.
