Shoal Group Announces Relocation to New Premises in Bedfordshire

Shoal Group has announced their relocation to new premises at Butterfield Business Park in Luton, Bedfordshire. The move, taking place over the festive shut down, will bring together two of Shoal Groups brands, Cablecraft, one the UK’s leading cable accessory manufacturers and supplier, and FS Cables, a leading distributor of specialist cable.

The new facility has been purpose-built to accommodate their current offices, warehousing, operations and a combined team of 120+ employees. Cablecraft and FS Cables will continue to trade under their respective brands.

Mark Taylor, Managing Director at Shoal Group commented: “Shoal Group has grown significantly over the last 3 years which is testament to the hard work and efforts of all colleagues. This move will not only provide a platform to support our next phase growth but also provide an inspiring workspace for our teams. I am excited for our future and the benefits from this move we can pass on to our valued customers; further service level enhancements through the introduction of warehouse automation, planned later cut off times, consolidated shipments (Cables and Accessories) and significant improvements in our environmental impact (solar and renewable power, high energy rated building, further reductions of waste to landfill and a move to all electric company vehicles).”

Shoal Group is committed to providing its customers with sustainable end-to-end solutions, and the move to Butterfield Business Park provides several advantages as well as significant environmental impact improvements. The 85,000sqft. facility will allow Shoal Group to expand its operations and provide space for their ambitious growth strategy, whilst also delivering an inspiring environment for their employees to excel.
