Andersen, which hand-builds bespoke, design-led EV charge points for the home, has launched a competition with interior design-focused YouTube channel, The Luxury Home Show, which attracts 700,000 subscribers. Andersen will give away one of its all-new A3 units, including installation and £1,000 towards the cost of charging.
One lucky winner, selected randomly on 17th July, will be able to customise their new A3 unit, choosing from a selection of 160 colour combinations.
The Luxury Home Show viewers not lucky enough to win can still benefit from a preferential rate by using code ‘LUXURY100’ to receive £100 off the purchase price of a new A3.
The all-new Andersen A3 and the company’s award-winning A2 are the only home chargers to feature a hidden cable and plug when not in use, creating a unique aesthetic that appeals to the most discerning homeowners. Each A3 is hand-built to order in the UK – the exceptional build quality allows Andersen to offer a 7-year warranty – and comes with a 5.5-metre tethered cable offering charging speeds of up to 7kW.
The intuitive Andersen app allows A3 users to schedule charging, integrating with leading energy providers to access tariff data and accurately calculate costs. At the end of a charging session, clear graphics summarise key data, including the amount of energy transferred, mileage added and the exact cost of each charge. For those homes with solar panels, the energy generated can be managed and redistributed by the Andersen unit to power EV charging sessions.
David Martell, CEO of Andersen said, “There is an obvious synergy between The Luxury Home Show and Andersen; we both offer access to a luxury-led lifestyle that allows form and function to co-exist without compromise.
“This competition will allow us to introduce our exceptional product to new audiences and help more homeowners realise their dream of owning an EV without negatively impacting the aesthetic of their beloved home.”
Andersen is a recommended installer for Porsche GB and is JLR’s preferred charge point supplier in the UK.
The Luxury Home Show is the leading online destination for tours of luxury homes, from unique new builds to Victorian restoration projects.
