As Wera celebrates the launch of its latest VDE innovations, three lucky readers will have the chance to bag KK VDE Allrounder Set.
The Wera Tools VDE range got some new innovations this month as the specialist manufacturer launched its new 2025 products.
Safe Torque Speed VDE
One of Wera’s stated aims in recent years is to “Make Torque Easy” and that ambition has extended to the electrical world with the introduction of the new Safe-Torque Speed VDE screwdrivers.
These drivers utilise the same technology as the non-insulated Safe-Torque Speed drivers with super-fast setting of the desired torque value.
The “safe’ element is provided by the slip-over mechanism which ensures that the selected torque cannot be exceeded. Five pre-set torque values are quick to set, ensuring easy and safe screwdriving in both clockwise and anti-clockwise operations.
As a special feature, the fixed position (Torque Lock function) allows the Safe-Torque Speed to be used as a conventional screwdriver for high tightening and loosening torques. Another popular feature of this tool is the fast-rotating sleeve for easy wielding of the tool whilst screwdriving.
Two versions are available with the values 0.4, 0.8, 1.2, 1.6, and 2.0 Nm, as well as 2.4, 2.8, 3.2, 3.6, and 4.0 Nm) that cover the most popular applications. The new Torque drivers are also suitable for use with Wera’s existing VDE interchangeable blades, and are available together in a Wera Kraftform Kompakt textile pouch.
410i VDE Ratcheting T-Handle
Not content with one new VDE innovation, Wera has also launched the new 410i RA Ratcheting T-Handles. Available in both 3/8” and ¼” drives, the handles feature an integrated fine-tooth ratcheting mechanism that lives inside the ergonomic Kraftform T-handle.
The free-spinning sleeve on the blade ensures fast rotation, while the cut-outs allow the ratcheting mechanism to be used with low resistance.
The new 410i RA Ratcheting T-Handles work with the accompanying 3/8” VDE sockets and accessories from the existing Zyklop VDE Series, or the new ¼” range which was also recently launched.
Kraftform Kompakt VDE 712i Adapter Blade
Users of Wera’s popular existing Kraftform Kompakt VDE range can also make use of the new ¼” VDE sockets with the 712i VDE Adapter Blade. This ¼” drive blade fits inside all existing Wera VDE handles including Turbo, Torque and the 837 i RA VDE ratcheting handle.
