Linked out phases on a single phase supply with 2.5mm single core cable, busbar not secure to DB and just hanging freely once cover is removed. No mechanical protection for cables entering DB,the list goes on!!!”
Check out this shocking #caughtoncamera sent over by Liam Butcher “Brand new install in property, no ring circuit, no protective bonding, loose wires etc. spark & arcing as soon as the lid was removed. called out due to nuisance tripping and to install new circuit, customer was told it was impossible to have it neat due to them being old wires and bonding was not needed anymore.”
A scary #caughtoncamera we received recently from Steven Hopkins – “3 companies had been in to sort dodgy wiring and this is what was left, they also put carpet and insulation directly on top of open spot lights and no ducting or isolators for extract fans.β
