The water pump then kept tripping out, so he wired out the thermal overload but then some of the internal control wiring started burning out so he had a go at rewiring it himself. He then decided it would be a good idea to call me in…” ⚡️
Check out this #caughtoncamera sent in by Nick Blakeley – “This was found after a request to attend an inoperative immersion heater. The 98 year old gentleman with tremors advised me that there was no supply to his immersion heater – he had tested it by removing the wires from the immersion heater and putting the two wires on the pins of the plug and the light bulb didn’t light. When we tested it properly after re-connecting the immersion heater it was found that the immersion heater switch had failed and lost its neutral. The cable would have been live!!” 🤯
