We’re back with another #caughtoncamera ! This one was sent in by Alan Frewin “Where do you start with this? 3 x 2.5mm supply to DB, piggy-backed from the supply side of the DB above. 2 x 2.5mm singles for earth, bypassed the RCD and mcb. My finger tip (top left corner) is on the load cable to a single socket below – 32A ‘protection’ I suppose is immaterial. Protection will be from the 100A primary fuses at the head. Found in a nursery, reception classroom!”
Check out this #caughtoncamera sent over by Craig Dunn “This was found during an EICR of a housing association contract. When testing the ring continuity I was getting an open cpc reading and upon further examination of the other sockets I found that the conductors had completely rusted away.”
A messy #caughtoncamera we received recently from Daniel Drinkald – “I electricians are known as the ‘clean trade’ but making your inspection and testing accessible from the shower is a bit too far!”
