mairelectrical tagged us in this #caughtoncamera over on Instagram – “This is a perfect example of why it is so important to have an EICR (Electrical Inspection Condition Report) carried on your property. This could be some of the worst and most dangerous issues I’ve come across in a long while, and they were all in one house!!
Whether you’ve just bought somewhere, are a landlord or have lived in same house for decades, electrical systems do degrade and these issues could be deadly.
So get in contact to arrange an electrical inspection and have any issues put right before it’s too late.”
Check out this #caughtoncamera sent in by Chris Hall – “I was fault finding a circuit and needed to disconnect the alarm and found this gem! No back-up battery installed for one, but the 230V side was wired in alarm cable from a spur and run in the same trunking and the pipework to boot!” ⚠️
Matt Sandell sent us in this #caughtoncamera – “Any idea what the IP rating of play dough is? Found while removing an outside light during a rewire. The old homeowner had used a standard joint box and tried to make it waterproof using play dough ”
