Check out our latest round-up of #CaughtOnCamera shockers! Have you seen something shocking, funny or surprising while on the job? Take a pic and send it in via DM on one of our social channels or send it directly to pe@hamerville.co.uk for the chance to be featured!

We’re back with another #caughtoncamera ! This one was sent in by Robert Lambert “I thought you might like to see this. Whilst undertaking an EICR I came across the broken fuse carrier and the novel way of using the live cable to secure the seal. I called the DNO who were unimpressed and a new cut out was installed.”

Check out this dangerous #caughtoncamera sent over by Russell Hadley “A recent EICR find: 2 x studio flats both with kitchenettes, 2 x electric hobs, 2 x electric ovens etc. Both flats fed off 1 x 6.0mm T & E fed via a 60A rewireable fuse and joined under the floor in Henley blocks. Thankfully the customer has agreed to do the upgrades in order to receive a satisfactory report.”

A shocking #caughtoncamera we received recently from Sean Coombes – “The height of stupidity – a ‘fasta fix’ box, hole cut to the correct size, then put ‘behind the panel’!”
