This one was sent in by Cablesmith Electrical – BEFORE: “The feed for this new consumer unit was just Henley blocks hanging out of the front of the old board (and still also in use). The key switches fed from single insulated cables lashed through bare metal holes, I meanโฆ. Just look at it”
AFTER: “So what we did was remove everything, trace and test every circuit, the majority had been rewired anyway. We set a new Fusebox within the wall just because there was already a lot of holes everywhere and covered the whole thing with ply just to hide the mess of the wall. Client painted it white and itโs in the back room so not too unsightly.โ
