We discover more about the inspiration behind a new solution that aims to help EV charge point specialists to produce compliant and safe installations.
Already established as one of the UK’s leading software solutions for EV charge point installers, EV-comply, is the latest software product by compliance specialists Platform d-Risk. Launched just as the world went into lockdown, EV-comply is a true post-Covid success story.
A software platform for installers that elevates companies into the 21st century by digitising customer engagement and their business practices, it reduces the need for pen and paper, improving efficiency and saving businesses time, resources and money. This can then be put back into expanding the business.
Inspired by an electrician
Created to make EV charge point installations easier than ever before, EV-comply benefits from the knowledge and experience of its founder and CEO, Stephen Smith, a former electrician who understands both the practical and administrative aspects of the job, alongside the customer-facing elements and overall challenges of delivering a quality service every time.
By aligning that knowledge with the latest smart technology, EV-comply has been able to help over 850 business partners deliver thousands of installations in the UK and Europe, with an unrivalled support network and user-friendly mobile and desktop applications.
Stephen says: “Our ethos has always been to create a product with the installer at the forefront. Throughout the lifecycle of EV-comply, our focus has been on simplifying and automating as much as possible, focussing on the complex installation and time-consuming administration processes associated with every job whilst remaining as cost-effective and user-friendly as possible.”
This approach to EV-comply’s product and service has accelerated businesses, both large and small, by helping them level-up to deliver consistent, professional, compliant services to their customers from initial engagement through to a completed installation.
As a further benefit, EV-comply has recently launched the ‘EV-comply Buyer’s Club’, through which users can gain access to exclusive discounts from a growing number of partner companies, including national and independent wholesaler stockists.
