Reconomy Trade highlights mental health awareness with new fundraising campaign

Reconomy Trade is seeking to highlight the importance of good mental health within the construction industry and associated sectors with a new fundraising campaign.

Throughout February 2022, Reconomy Trade has committed to donating Β£5 to mental health charity, Mind, for every skip or RoRo waste container ordered. The month-long campaign is expected to raise thousands of pounds, which will go towards helping those most in need to access vital mental health support.

Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem, whilst at least one in six will experience common mental health problems associated with the workplace, including anxiety and depression. Sadly, within some sectors, particularly those with a predominantly male workforce, openly discussing mental health issues or seeking help may be considered inappropriate or even taboo.

Reconomy Trade recognises the need for more mental health support, which is why we’re taking a stand against mental health stigmas, raising both money and awareness throughout February.

Reconomy Trade has been created to best serve our customers with quick response waste collection, disposal, and recycling needs – giving you all the advantages of a local services provider with the reach, manpower and expertise of a national operator.
