Andersen’s in-house installation service earns Which? Trusted Trader status

Andersen, the design-led brand that hand-builds bespoke EV charge points for the home, has gained Which? Trusted Trader status for its installation service. The Which? Trusted Trader scheme provides independent verification that a trader is reputable and has attained the highest standards during a rigorous assessment process.

Andersen is the only home charge point provider with its own in-house team of fully trained expert installers who all drive electric vehicles. As well as being skilled in fitting the company’s A3 and A2 charge points, the installers are trained to provide customers with additional guidance on the EV lifestyle, including how to get the most from each charging activity, the best time to charge, how to preserve battery life and how to integrate with solar charging.

Customer experience is paramount to the Andersen brand, and a lifetime Concierge Service enhances customer trust in the brand and its products.

David Martell, CEO of Andersen, said, “Andersen customers expect the very best, and as a Which? Trusted Trader, we have independent verification that our installation service is one of the very best available. We are the only EV home charge point provider that employs its own installers and operates an all-electric vehicle fleet, ensuring that every customer receives expert advice from people who live and breathe the EV lifestyle. In addition, from the first point of contact, through installation and for the duration of ownership, our Concierge Service is available to make the transition to electrification as simple as possible.”

Raj Kakar-Clayton, Managing Director of Which?, added, “Installing a home charging point for an electric car or van can help people to live more sustainably but also save significant money over time. At Which? Trusted Traders, we’re committed to raising industry standards and to helping people adopt more sustainable practices. We aim to work together with our partners to support consumers in making well informed and beneficial choices in this sector.

“In recognising Andersen EV as an Approved Service, we also meet our core purpose of helping to guide consumers towards a trader they can trust with regard to at-home EV charging.”

The all-new Andersen A3 and the company’s award-winning A2 are the only home chargers to feature a hidden cable and plug when not in use. The A3 offers charging speeds up to 7kW, a seven-year warranty and comes with a choice of over 240 colour options, as well as a special edition A3 fascia created in collaboration with automotive design house CALLUM Designs. It also offers a custom colour palette service, allowing customers to colour-match their home charge unit to any beloved item.
