On Friday 18th January, BEW held the official opening of its new business venture in Shrewsbury.
The event, attended by local mayor Peter Nutting who carried out the traditional ribbon-cutting, was hosted by the BEW management team of Dan Wornell and Will Pablos.
The arrival of the mayor was also announced by Shrewsbury’s 7ft Town Crier, Martin Wood.
The old building now housing BEW’s Shrewsbury branch was transformed during the detailed fit-out. The premises now feature a contemporary trade counter, modern offices and plenty of storage.
Commenting on the event, Peter Nutting said: “As the previous owner of a sports shop in Shrewsbury, I understand the difficulties faced by small businesses.
“So, when I was invited to open a new local branch for BEW Electrical Distributors, I was delighted to offer my support. “It was a real honour to cut the ribbon and welcome a BEW branch to Shrewsbury’s map.”
Dan, Will and all of their team are available Monday to Friday from 7:30am till 5pm.
