Checkatrade Awards Return for 2025 to celebrate Britain’s top

Checkatrade Awards Return for 2025 to celebrate Britain’s top

Following the success of its inaugural awards in 2024, Checkatrade is proud to announce the return of a bigger and better Checkatrade Awards for 2025, to shine a spotlight on skilled professionals in the home improvement and repairs industry.

With nominations now open until 25 July 2025, Checkatrade is calling on customers and tradespeople to put forward outstanding Checkatrade members who deserve recognition.

This year, the awards will feature five regional events taking place across the country, culminating in a prestigious national final at Wembley Stadium on 19 November 2025. The expanded format gives more tradespeople the opportunity to be recognised for their skill, passion, and top class service for customers.

Emma Grant, Head of Commercial Partnerships and Trade Experience said:
“Tradespeople are the heroes of our homes and communities, and their work often goes unrecognised.  After an incredible response to last year’s event, we’re excited to grow the Checkatrade Awards into a truly national celebration, giving recognition where it’s due, at both regional and national status – and Britain’s best trades deserve a Wembley final!”

What to Expect in 2025:

  • Five regional awards to recognise trades across the South of England, London (within M25), Midlands & Wales, North of England and Scotland & Ireland.
  • Five regional award events in Portsmouth, London, Birmingham, Leeds and Edinburgh.
  • Recognition across multiple categories, including Rising Star, Trade Champion, Tech Champion and Trade Business of the Year.
  • A national final bringing together the best of the best in the UK trade industry

Entries are open to over 50,000 Checkatrade members, from sole traders to growing trade businesses. Whether you’re just starting out or have decades of experience, if you take pride in your work, this is your chance to shine.

Key Dates:

  • Nominations: 1-25 July 2025
  • Regional events: From September to November 2025
  • National final: 19 November 2025
