Ideal has been awarded significant Government funding to support an investment totalling just over Β£12m to establish large-scale heat pump production in the UK, while also investing Β£19m in a UK Technology Centre, largely focused on research and development of heat pumps, which is due to open this year at the companyβs headquarters site in Hull.
