Ideal Industries, the global leader in electrical accessories, tools and equipment, has signed a supply agreement with The IBA Buying Group, making the company’s entire product catalogue available across the IBA’s national network of 87 independent wholesalers across 120 Branches.
Amongst the products that will now be available from IBA member independents are Ideal Industries’ In-sure Push-In and Lever Connectors, which provide a faster and simpler cable termination method than traditional terminal strips. The agreement makes Ideal Industries a preferred supplier of wire termination connectors for the IBA wholesaler network following a rigorous approval process by IBA Buying Group’s commercial committee, which included a review of product samples.
Paul Jenner, chief operating officer at IBA Buying Group explains: “Our members were keen to work with a supply chain partner that offers wire termination connectors because this installation method is popular with contractors. Ideal Industries’ global reputation, reliability of supply, product quality and technical support made the company the right choice of connector supplier and they are able to offer our members high calibre products across a huge range, along with competitive pricing, even for small volume orders.”
Following the deal, IBA member wholesalers will be able to offer their customers any of 325 Ideal Industries products from across the company’s wire installation, termination and management solutions, stripping cutting & fastening range, electrical safety and testing portfolio, lighting components, data tools and accessories, and hole making and cutting equipment. The huge range includes Ideal Industries’ innovative FT-45 Feed-Thru modular plugs and Crimp Tool for data installations, its globally recognised electrical lubricants range, and its safe isolation kits.
Ideal Industries has appointed a dedicated sales and customer service representative, Adam Garside, to work with IBA members as part of the company’s commitment to serving the independents in the buying group and helping them maximise the potential of the company’s product range.
