JTL calls on employers to ‘Energize their business’ in new campaign

JTL, a leading apprenticeship provider in the building services engineering sector, has launched a new campaign appealing directly to employers and calling on them to energize their business by taking on an apprentice.

JTL works with over 3,800 businesses and trains more apprentices than anyone else in the building services engineering sector, currently training around 8,000 learners in electrotechnical engineering and plumbing: key skills contributing to the UK’s transition to net zero and future workforce.

With a growing number of training centres across the country, JTL can provide tailored training in renewable technologies and ensures access to the latest academic criteria. Each training centre boasts state-of-the-art learning environments and resources required for each apprenticeship standard. This enables the delivery of high-quality training in response to industry demand.

Employers working with JTL apprentices have told of the benefits they bring to their business as talented and highly motivated team members; as well as the value of a smooth and efficient process in hiring an apprentice.

Government funding may be available to assist employers when recruiting an apprentice and cover the expenses related to qualification training with JTL.

Hayley Tabberer, Employer Campaign Manager at JTL, said: “This is an exciting time for the industry, innovative technologies are transforming our daily lives, increasing the demand for both commercial and domestic installations. The apprenticeship standards focus on a greener future, making it invaluable to bring an apprentice into your business who is trained to these practices from the start, ensuring sustainable growth.”

Supporting employers directly, JTL provide a dedicated training officer to manage the apprenticeship process from the initial appointment through to completion, and all JTL apprentices  are supported with learning resources and provided with a free toolkit for their workplace.

The campaign, running across all digital channels, also raises awareness about updated academic standards to better reflect business and industry’s needs, and changes to government funding rules which mean apprenticeships within small businesses are fully funded for anyone up to the age of 21.

Employers are encouraged to find out further information to maximise the potential of apprentices for their business by visiting JTL’s dedicated employer webpage: JTL – Energize Your Business (jtltraining.com)
