Kidde Safety Europe will be exhibiting its latest ranges of smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms and accessories on Stand L16 at the Elex Show event at Sandown Park on 2nd and 3rd November.
Kidde will focus on a wider use of alarms – particularly interconnected mains products – to provide low cost early warning for all housing.
The theme of Kidde’s stand at Elex will be smoke, heat and CO alarms as the first line of defence, anticipating greater use of these essential safety measures in all housing in future. The stand will highlight Firex, a range of cost-effective hard-wired, interconnectable alarms, manufactured and supplied exclusively by Kidde.
The latest generation of Firex optical and ionisation smoke alarms and heat alarms offers Standard, Long Life and Rechargeable battery back-up versions of each sensing technology, giving nine options in all.
Kidde’s Firex range can also be interconnected with the company’s hard-wired carbon monoxide alarms using the ‘Smart Interconnect’ feature to create a comprehensive system for whole home protection. All the alarms have different, distinct alarm sounder patterns for carbon monoxide and fire, supported by different display messages on the digital CO model. Without the need for any further operation of the system – such as remote switches – Smart Interconnect automatically alerts occupants of the specific hazard that confronts them.
