Kosnic helps boot camp class to see through its fitness goals.
Kosnic Lighting Ltd is helping an outdoor boot camp class in Northamptonshire to continue with its fitness programme throughout the dark winter months thanks to the use of its rechargeable LED Work Lights.
Fitness trainer Darren Biggs started the weekly exercise class in the recreational ground of Northamptonshire village Stoke Bruerne back in the summer. However, as autumn approached and the nights began to draw in, the 7pm outdoor class started to be disrupted by the lack of light. “Early evening is a really popular time to work out, but the dark nights and the uneven ground meant that some of the exercises became difficult to execute and there was a risk of injury with the reduced visibility,” said Darren, Director of DB Fitness.
“Dark, wet or both, we know we can continue our boot camp sessions thanks to the help of Kosnic.”
Kosnic learned of the issues the group was facing and decided to sponsor the boot camp class, providing two of its rechargeable LED Work Lights so they could continue to train throughout the winter. Available in both 10W and 30W models, Kosnic provided two of the 30W Work Lights that deliver an output of 2,300 lumens and can work continuously on full power for up to nine hours. With a sleek, compact design and IP65 rated to be dust tight and water resistant, the 30W Work Lights are perfect for this outdoor application. Kosnic also supplied the group with two stands so that the lights could be positioned at an appropriate angle to deliver maximum visibility over a wide working area.
“The lights have been a real gamechanger for us,” added Darren. “The distribution of light has made sure that everyone can see what they’re doing to work out safely – the visibility is fantastic. They are easy to set up and use, recharge quickly and the power lasts for several sessions without needing a recharge. Dark, wet or both, we know we can continue our boot camp sessions thanks to the help of Kosnic.”
Kosnic’s rechargeable LED Work Lights can be recharged via mains power supply, with an in-car charger also available separately. Initially designed for use on work sites or as a back-up light source in the home, Kosnic is delighted to see the flexible lighting solution being used for a whole variety of applications, including outdoor fitness classes.
