As Unicrimp continues to rapidly grow and develop as a business, the company has created two new positions within the sales team to help drive further growth across the product categories.
Promoted from their previous positions as Area Sales Mangers, and taking up the new roles of Regional Sales Managers, are Damon Harrison – for the North region – and Joshua Richardson – for the South region.
They will be responsible for managing a rapidly expanding team to ensure that all sales opportunities with existing and new customers are maximised, and that the breadth of the growing range of Unicrimp products and solutions is promoted. They will also be responsible for mentoring their team members as they develop in their roles.
Damon brings to the role more than 20 years’ industry experience, having spent over 13 years as branch manager for one of the industry’s leading wholesalers, and six years as a Unicrimp Area Sales Manager.
Heading up the sales team for the South region, Josh comes to the new role with a wealth of experience at electrical wholesaler level where he began his career in the industry on the Graduate Scheme before progressing to account manager level for a number of years. He takes up the role of Regional Sales Manager South following almost three years as a Unicrimp Area Sales Manager.
Since launch almost ten years ago, the Unicrimp range has been continually developed and expanded, and currently comprises three distinct product categories, with each one marketed under its own sub brand and all available exclusively through the electrical wholesaler channel. These are the Q-Crimp range of cable and wire accessories, Q-Fire fire–rated and 18th edition compliant cable accessories and the most recent addition to the portfolio, Q-Nect lever connectors and connection boxes, launched in 2023.
