Chesterfield-based P.A.R. Insulations and Wires Limited, a specialist supplier of products to manufacturers and repairers of electrical machines, has won this year’s coveted Distributor of the Year Award from Megger.
The award, which was marked by the presentation of a certificate and a trophy, recognises the outstanding performance of the P.A.R. team, which has achieved a bigger growth in the sales of Megger products than any of the company’s other distributors in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
P.A.R.’s success has been largely based on exceptionally strong sales of products from the Megger Baker range which comprises instruments specifically designed for fast, convenient and comprehensive testing of rotating machines.
The range includes static motor test systems for tests on unpowered motors, dynamic test systems for powered motors, installed on-line systems for continuous motor monitoring, and software for recording and analysing motor test data.
