Our final show of 2018 is nearly upon us and it promises to be our biggest and best effort yet. Here we take a look at seven stops you should be making on your way around the show.
Keeping abreast of all the latest technical developments in a fast-paced industry is difficult at the best of times, so nows your chance to take advantage of the wealth of knowledge and know-how available to you at ELEX. In addition to technical demonstrations available on many exhibitors’ stands, our dedicated seminar programme crucially offers the latest updates and amendments to the recently released 18th Edition regulations, delivered by experts in their field such as Darren Staniforth, Technical Development Manager for NICEIC and ELECSA (pictured), as well as advice on new profit opportunities and understanding emerging technologies. You couldn’t put a price on this sort of information, and it’s all FREE to ELEX visitors.
TAKE THE SMART LIGHTING CONTROL CHALLENGE
Visitors to this month’s ELEX event will get the last opportunity to take on the Hamilton 2018 Smart Lighting Control Challenge, held on Hamilton’s newly-designed stand. Can you beat last year’s winning time of 3 mins 41 seconds to wire a smart control unit? If so then you could win this year’s top prize – £1,000 worth of smart lighting control. Hamilton will also be showcasing its latest products, including the Elemento range of robust weatherproof wiring accessories, which recently received a design refresh and are perfectly suited to outdoor use. There’s also an addition to the Metalclad range, with 2.1A/1A dual USB double switched sockets now available. From Hamilton’s circuit protection range, the new Flush Mounting Kit will be on show, illustrating just how easy it is to install the Contour Consumer Unit within a wall cavity and sit flush with the wall. And, not to be missed, get a sneak peek at the soon-to-be-launched USB Type-A and USB Type-C range.
C.K will be exhibiting at this month’s show and the stand promises to be better than ever, showcasing ‘brand new’ never seen before products.
