The Grand Final of the SPARKS Female Skills Competition 2024 is just two days away! This exciting event will be held on Thursday, 18th April, at Stephenson College in Coalville.
The competition, which started in January, has seen Level 2 and 3 electrical learners from across the UK showcase their exceptional skills. After the intense regional heats, the judges have selected six finalists.
Competing this Thursday for the title of SPARKS Female Skills Competition 2024 Winner are:

– Anne Greaves, Leicester College
– Mia Goodhall, St Helen’s College
– Sarah Little, Activate Learning
– Kaci Riley, Loughborough College
– Chelsie Miller, St. Helen’s College
Zoe Tanner, Managing Director at SPARKS, remarked: “This competition plays a pivotal role in boosting confidence, encouraging female participation in broader industry events, and contributing significantly to the electrical trade. We are immensely proud of the support this initiative has garnered from across the industry.”
This year’s competition is supported by prominent industry leaders, including Megger as the Headline Sponsor, along with Aico, Electric Center, The IET, Milwaukee, Schneider Electric, Prysmian, Snickers Workwear, and National Electrotechnical Training (NET). Darren Oates from NET serves as the competition’s Head Judge.
