In the wake of sustained growth in new projects won, Midlands-based mechanical and electrical contractors Woodward Group has bolstered its growing leadership team with an experienced new hire.
Chris Henderson has joined the company’s senior team as purchasing manager and will be responsible for the management and negotiation of the supply of materials and plant hire to Woodward Group’s multiple project sites.
His appointment follows another successful financial quarter for Woodward Group, during which the company achieved a significant number of project wins.
An electrical wholesale expert, Chris brings 13 years’ experience, extensive industry knowledge and a strong network of key industry wholesalers to the role. He joins from J&A Engineering, where he gained in-depth experience in the research and sourcing of materials, tool and plant hire, negotiating deals, and managing in-house stores. Prior, Chris was a key account manager at REXEL, a leading wholesale electrical distributor.
