Getting the new year off to a flying start, Ansell Lighting has unveiled Falcon Wall, a brand-new addition to its leading range of emergency luminaires.
Engineered with real precision, the emergency light has been specifically designed to achieve low-level illumination and emergency call point regulations. Installed independently, it will deliver 1 lux on the floor in the event of power failure without the requirement for emergency lighting in the ceiling and can also be installed above call points to help to meet the minimum 5-10 lux level requirement depending on regulations in the UK and Ireland.
Ideal for use in both open areas and escape routes, Falcon Wall features ultra-low profile, interchangeable asymmetrical and symmetrical lenses, providing users with the flexibility to adjust the light distribution pattern based on specific requirements. Supplied complete with tool for easy lens changes it delivers maximum light output and performance, allowing for increased spacing and reducing costs.
Surface and recess mountable, Falcon Wall is highly robust, offering an impressive IP65 rating, making it suitable for both internal and external use.
Self-test as standard, it features intelligent technology that conducts routine functional and duration testing in-line with the relevant standards. DALI options are also available, which provide further enhanced functionality, including product and testing reports.
Mark Abbott, Managing Director at Ansell Lighting said: “The Falcon Wall light represents a leap forward in emergency lighting solutions. Its adaptability, reportability, and compliance-driven design make it an indispensable addition for various applications, setting new standards in both form and function.”
