HellermannTyton has improved its high voltage cable clamp solution (HVCC) following customer requests for the original – first launched in 2018 – to be upgraded in line with industry requirements.
The new and improved HVCC can be used as a routing mechanism to neatly secure high-voltage cables. Designed to keep cables at fixed distances and following the correct path through the application, it can be used across a variety of industries in addition to automotive. These include rail, renewable energy, and electrical industries, as well as providing fluid management solutions.
With the ongoing transition to electric and hybrid vehicles, HellermannTyton recognised that its customers wanted to standardise inventories with single stud size fixings, and as a result, have made the HVCC range M8 ready; whilst retaining the original M6 option.
The new model also boasts a pre-lock feature, allowing cables to be secured while also providing the flexibility to fine-tune the routing before bolting shut. This simple feature significantly increases the ease of installation, taking the weight of the cables off the installer and allowing them to easily find the optimal route. HVCC is particularly useful when working overhead and enhances the service and reusability elements of the product.
