MASCOT offers a broad assortment of workwear for electricians, with all the features, details and certifications required for this trade- so that you can pick the ones that best suit your needs and preferences. In the selection you will find everything from work jackets, T-shirts and sweaters to work trousers and overalls. The products are available in several different colours, just as you will also find products in fits for both men and women.
Functional features
MASCOT’s workwear for electricians is equipped with smart details and functions that will benefit you. The clothing has a number of practical pockets and straps, so you have room for all your tools.
If most of your working day is spent in a kneeling position, a good choice would be work trousers with kneepad pockets. Another option is workwear trousers with holster pockets, which give you an extra ‘toolbox’ that is always within easy reach.
In MASCOT’s assortment you can also find overalls, which all have the same functions as workwear trousers. Overalls cover the back during all kinds of work, where a set of trousers and a sweater can otherwise slide apart when working in forward-bent positions. Overalls thus reduce the risk of getting cold on the back.
High freedom of movement
MASCOT’s workwear for electricians has been designed with durability, fit and comfort in mind, making it comfortable to wear throughout the working day. That’s why you’ll also find products in ULTIMATE STRETCH fabric. MASCOT’s stretch fabric is elastic in all directions, giving you a unique freedom of movement where nothing tightens or bothers.
Protection specific for your trade
As an electrician, you are sometimes subjected to high temperatures, sparks or electricity, all of which comprise a risk. It is therefore essential that you choose workwear that protects you. MASCOT offers a selection of flame retardant products, which protect you from sparks, flame contact and hot materials. EN ISO 11612 and 14116 reduce the risk of your workwear igniting, should it come into brief contact with sparks and fire. If you work in an environment where you are subjected to longer periods of heat or sparks, you should wear clothing with a higher level of protection.
In addition to EN ISO 11612 and 14116, MASCOT also offers workwear for electricians that protects against light arcs (IEC 61482-2), electrostatic charging (EN 1149-3/5) and welding (EN ISO 11611). Electric arc tested workwear protects you against heat radiation and flames that are produced in connection with an electric arc explosion.
The choice of fabric quality as well as thread and logo print ensure that the risk of flame spread is minimized. A large part of the products is also anti-static and acid-resistant. The products in this range are manufactured in unique fabric qualities and have special seams and pockets which make it very difficult for sparks, flames and splashes from dangerous liquids to find their way to your skin.
In the category of safety clothing you can find, among other things, bib & brace overalls, boilersuits, work trousers and a variety of tops. Whether you prefer fluorescent safety workwear with reflectors or workwear without additional visibility, you get a wide selection of safety workwear and workwear with electrostatic properties at MASCOT.
