HellermannTyton launches cordless heat gun for electrical contractors

Cable management specialist, HellermannTyton, has released a new cordless heat gun for use in electrical applications.

 

Without the need for mains power, the CHG900 also allows contractors to work anywhere in a building and is ideal for off-grid environments or when power is unavailable.

 

Assisting with heat shrinking all types of markers, tubing, boots, shapes and repair sleeves, the CHG900 cordless heat gun is also versatile enough to be used for the bending and shaping of PVC pipes, soft soldering of copper pipes, drying , defrosting of locks, heating and paint stripping. It also comes with a standing pod enabling safe hands-free use for jobs that require both hands.

 

The flameless CHG900 heat gun delivers heat up to 900Β°C is powered by P445 gas cartridges. With a 90-minute run time per cartridge, the CHG900 delivers double the amount provided by rechargeable batteries, enabling electrical contractors to complete a multitude of tasks without the need to replace cartridges regularly.
