SME’s set to benefit from latest updates to the fuelGenie mobile app

SME’s are set to benefit further from the latest updates to the fuelGenie mobile app from the leading fuel card provider, enabling even greater functionality while enjoying low cost fuel.

Among the updates to the app, already proving immensely popular with nearly 40,000 downloads, is the additional functionality that enables businesses to manage their drivers’ card details directly from the app.

This now includes the ability to view the full card details including name on the card, vehicle registration and any card limits set, with the ability to edit the card details quickly and easily.

Furthermore, there is now a new function to edit card details that require a new fuel card to be issued, which will result in a new fuel card being automatically generated and sent out to the business address listed on the account.

Businesses also now have the option to view cancelled cards, enabling them to keep a detailed record of all the fuel cards that have been issued.

With regards invoicing, the app updates have made it easier for businesses to view and manage business fuel invoices, including viewing current and past invoices listed by date, and downloading invoices to a mobile device in a PDF format – saving time when quickly needing to check how much has been spent on fuel and previous invoices.

Managing Director Robert Pieczka commented: “fuelGenie is making constant improvements to its app to enable the very best customer service.

“The fuelGenie app is even easier to use with these latest updates, allowing SME’s and their drivers to benefit from low cost fuel with no hassle.”

The latest updates follow a raft of other recent improvements to the fuelGenie app, including a very useful tool that compares fuel prices near to where the user is so that they always benefit from competitively priced fuel at participating supermarkets.

fuelGenie fuel card users and SMEs can use the app to find the nearest participating forecourt, of which there are more than 1,350 Tesco, Tesco Express, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s petrol stations across key travel routes, towns and cities in the UK, to choose from.

Robert concluded: “SME’s and drivers using the updated fuelGenie app are already enjoying numerous benefits when it comes to filling up the fuel tank.

“Indeed, on average, fuelGenie customers enjoy lower cost fuel than the national average, helping them save money, while paperwork is reduced, such as eliminating the need for paper receipts, helping them save time.”
