An excellent choice would be one of the new Megger PAT250 handheld portable PAT testers. These provide all the features you would expect in a portable PAT tester plus convenient remote control from your own smartphone, tablet or computer. The PAT250SX uses standard batteries while the PAT250SRX has rechargeable batteries. These testers are designed to be used with Megger’s CertSuite PAT App which is available for iOS and Android devices, and as a version that’s compatible with standard web browsers. When used with a PAT250 tester, CertSuite PAT lets you control tests from your own device, and it automatically captures the results, so that producing reports is fast and easy. CertSuite PAT also stores your results securely, and it’s preloaded with standard report forms that you can easily customise. Regular updates mean you will always be testing in line with the latest standards and regulations. All PAT250 testers come with a 12-month licence for CertSuite PAT and, if you’re already using Megger’s CertSuite Installation software, you can add CertSuite PAT to your licence to provide convenient access to both Apps.
