Recently launched, the range brings new and innovative features not seen in the LED downlight market, including the new Dim2Warm CCT, a QuickView Cable Window and an Easy Access ClipFit Connector.
Uniquely, when set to 3000K and installed on a dimmer switch, Dim2Warm mode is unlocked on the Dim2Warm CCT models. This allows the downlight to adjust to a warmer colour temperature when dimmed, offering a warmer and cosier feel.
The Quick View Cable Window enables easy inspection of wire connections even after cables are secured in place. This provides reassurance the connection is secure, adding convenience and saving time on installation.
The Easy Access Clip Fit Connector on the Ultra model includes a 500V insulation resistance compatible connector, with a removable VDE-certified terminal block. This provides easy 360-degree access when wiring, eliminating the need to bend cables around bulky housings.
The FType range consists of three models:
- Essence – budget-friendly, retrofit downlight with excellent functionality
- MK2 – high-performance, feature-rich, retrofit downlight
- Ultra – the ultimate 1st fix, 2nd fix downlight for new projects
