MEGAMAN recently launched two distinct new energy-efficient LED fixture ranges: Performa and Essentials. Integrating existing solutions with some of its latest product launches, the two ranges have been designed to provide both an everyday, economy version and a more advanced, functionality-rich alternative for every application – while crucially keeping energy costs to a minimum.
Here, we take a look at just some of the products from across the two ranges and highlight some key differences:
HIGH BAY
ESSENTIALS – KEO
KEO is Megaman’s every day, anti-corrosion LED high bay, offering easy installation with single point hook mounting design or surface mounted bracket option. It has built-in surge protection, IK08 vandal resistance and an optional modular plug and play microwave motion sensor, making it ideal for all high-ceiling applications. where energy efficiency is key. 100, 150 and 200W options are available, with other features that include IP65 rating, 4000K colour temperature, fixed 110° beam angle Motion Sensor Remote Control option and a three-year warranty.
PERFORMA – GEO 2
For a more advanced high bay, GEO 2 offers multiple wattage/lumen outputs from one fixture via a simple switch, as well as remote control functionality. It is compatible with a microwave sensor and reflector and refractors are also available as optional extras. Finally, installation is simple thanks to an in-line flex connector with push fit, allowing a PCR2000 to be connected without an adaptor. The unit additionally offers 70/90/100/125/150W interchangeable wattage, 50,000 hours of rated life and a five-year warranty.
DOWNLIGHT
ESSENTIALS – TEGO SLIM
TEGO Slim is Megaman’s economy integrated LED downlight, fire-rated for 30, 60 and 90 minute ceilings. It is easy to install with tool-less wiring and loop in/loop out functionality – with TRIAC dimming as standard. It is ideal for applications with a limited ceiling depth in a wide range of applications and is available boxed as 10 packs – ideal for contractors. The product is IP65 rated with 2800 and 4000K options available, a fixed 90° beam angle, dimming capability, 25,000 hours of rated life and a three-year warranty.
PERFORMA – TEGO 2
TEGO 2 is a high-functionality integrated LED downlight that is also fire-rated for 30, 60 and 90 minute ceilings. Featuring Megaman’s innovative Dual Beam Technology (36˚ and 60˚) and Colour Change Technology (CCT), with TEGO 2 you can easily toggle between beam angle and colour temperature from the front of the installed fixture, without removing it from the ceiling.
There is no need to worry about a customer’s colour temperature preferences and the issue of ‘making good’ a ceiling anymore – any adjustment can be made quickly and easily, with zero mess. The unit is IP65 rated with 2800/4000K interchangeable colour temperature, 36/60° interchangeable beam angle, dimming capability, 50,000 hours of rated life and a five-year warranty.
BULKHEAD
ESSENTIALS – KATIA
Megaman’s economy, integrated LED indoor bulkhead range, KATIA is a reliable, cost-effective and ultra slim fixture that can be easily installed with tool-less wiring. Providing an even light distribution from either wall or ceiling, it is the ideal replacement for traditional lighting fixtures. Available in a variety of sizes and wattages that suit most indoor residential or commercial lighting applications, 12 to 36W wattage options are available, the unit is IP40 rated and offers a fixed 120° beam angle. It provides 25,000 hours of rated life and comes with a three-year warranty.
PERFORMA – RENZO
KATIA but with greater control, RENZO is an integrated modular LED bulkhead offering colour change technology (CCT) and selectable lumen output. A one box, ‘plug and play’ solution with tool-less install, it is available in three different sizes and can also be combined with a microwave motion sensor or emergency kit if required.
11 to 22W wattage options are available with 3,000/4,000K interchangeable colour temperature, fixed 110° beam angle and 280mm, 330mm and 390mm options. It offers 50,000 hours of rated life and a five-year warranty.
