A five-strong contingent from Hamerville Media Group, along with several other trade media journalists, successfully completed Tough Mudder London South last weekend.
The #BoschMudder team took on the gruelling 11-mile course at Holmbush Farm, near Crawley on Saturday 24th September. The team ran on behalf of Bosch Professional Power Tools, one of the main sponsors of the Tough Mudder events this year.
Daniel Tovey and Anthony Scott (Professional Electrician), Michael Connolly (Professional Housebuilder & Property Developer), Sam Darkins (Kitchens & Bathrooms News), and Craig Jowsey (Group Advertising & Event Sales Manager) completed the line-up from Hamerville Media Group.
Professional Electrician Editor, Daniel Tovey said:
“Getting electrocuted and dunked in an ice bath isn’t everybody’s idea of a fun weekend but we had a great time completing the course.
“Tough Mudder is a fantastic event, pushing runners to their physical and mental limits, whilst at the same time promoting teamwork and charitable giving.
Throughout the 2016 Tough Mudder UK event season over 120,000 men and women have lined up at events to climb, swing, crawl, cling and clamber over and through each one of up to 25 obstacles together. Many of the runners have been raising funds for various causes, most notably the event’s official charity partner, Help For Heroes.
Bosch first partnered with Tough Mudder last year and for 2016 its range of 18 Volt cordless Professional power tools have been used to erect the stamina-sapping and mentally taxing obstacles at each of the sites.
