New City & Guilds accredited electricians’ course soon to be available from NAPIT Training Nationwide.
The City & Guilds accredited NA7232-(5) Competence in the Installation and Testing of Electrotechnical Systems, launched by NAPIT Training, allows students with at least two years’ experience in the electrical trade to formally demonstrate the level of competence necessary to join an electrical self-certification scheme.
City & Guilds Accreditation and CPD Manager Charmain Bucho said: “By developing this brand new course in close cooperation with the City & Guilds Accreditation Team, NAPIT has demonstrated a strong commitment to quality assurance as the programme has been thoroughly reviewed based on the City & Guilds benchmark model. After a promising launch, I’m very optimistic about its potential to become a real hit as it is rolled out across the country in the weeks to come.”
“The course was delivered to a very high standard by the Tutor at Fulcran and I felt well-supported throughout the course and assessments.”
The course has drawn prospective electricians to centres in Mansfield, Bristol and Oldham. It has also started to gain interest from candidates at NAPIT’s first Approved Satellite Centre, Fulcran Engineering and Compliance based in Middlesbrough, producing the course’s first success story.
Fulcran Operations Manager Phil Pallent said: “Fulcran are proud to be pioneering this fantastic new course. We have been running the City & Guilds accredited NA-7232-(5) for some weeks now. The pass rate is currently 100% and it has already received some great feedback, especially from Mark Andrews, the first student to pass the course.”
Successful candidate Mark Andrews added: “The course was delivered to a very high standard by the Tutor at Fulcran and I felt well-supported throughout the course and assessments. It has given me the knowledge and confidence I need to carry out installation, inspection and testing work to the high standard required, and the ability to show that I can do so with the joint NAPIT Training Ltd and City & Guilds Accredited certificate I received at the end. I’m proud of what I’ve achieved and highly recommend the course to others.”
Fulcran Engineering and Compliance is an established electrical training centre with an overall pass rate of 98%. The centre offers a wide range of electrical training at their conveniently located, well-equipped centre in the North East of England.
