More than 500 conscientious contractors tuned into the latest episode of NICEIC & ELECSA’s webinar series, The Wire.
The latest one, which aired on March 28th, looked at Surge Protection Devices (SPDs).
NICEIC & ELECSA’s Technical Helpline Manager John O’Neil and Technical Helpline Engineer Sam Donaghy discussed the need for SPDs in line with the requirements of BS 7671 18th Edition.
They looked at when and where SPDs should be provided and answered some of the most common questions asked by contractors in regard to the new regulations.
The 45 minute video proved popular with contractors and a recording has now been made available for those who missed it – you can access the recording in the customer portal area of www.niceic.com and www.elecsa.co.uk.
The Wire is a series of technical and business advice seminars via free online webinars. The sessions are free for all NICEIC and ELECSA registrants and take place each month.
They are hosted by industry experts for electrical contractors to view at home, in the office or out on site.
Further episodes of The Wire will look at Smart Technology in the Home and Arc Fault Detection devices (AFDDs).
