One of Europe’s leading suppliers of smoke, heat and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms, FireAngel, has extended its commitment to providing electrical contractors with first class product quality and customer service excellence by extending its popular Field Support unit.
In response to a series of high profile contract wins secured throughout 2020 and 2021, the expansion of the Field Support team will ensure each trade professional receives the resources and support they require to ensure every project achieves maximum fire and CO protection.
This includes training, which should be undertaken by electrical contractors prior to a project commencing, to ensure all FireAngel smoke, heat, CO and additional safety devices are fitted correctly and in line with current standards, whilst meeting the most demanding site requirements.
The bespoke sessions are hosted onsite or digitally for ultimate convenience, whilst also providing complete traceability, as each individual’s complete training modules a certificate of training completion is issued. Training can be tailored to meet the unique specifications of each development or specific project needs.
The modules cover areas such as correct alarm placements, core alarm technology and how to utilise current advancements in IoT technology to create mixed system capabilities that can be continuously adapted and upgraded.
Electrical contractors can also receive comprehensive guidance on the latest BS 5839:6 2019 Grades and Categories to ensure constant compliance, by successfully mitigating the level of risk for each development.
This is further supported by dedicated on-site support, with FireAngel’s team of Field Support experts strategically located across the UK to meet with electrical contractors on-site, when required, to provide hands on guidance that ensures the overall installation is completed correctly and efficiently.
Steve Boggis, Trade Business Unit Director at FireAngel, said: “In order to achieve maximum fire and CO protection, it’s crucial that each stage of the specification, installation and maintenance phases are completed to the highest standards.
“That’s why we have extended our dedicated Field Support team, which works in tandem with our nationwide network of Specification Managers and customer service department, to ensure we consistently provide electrical contractors with the guidance, service, product quality and innovation they require to achieve complete protection and compliance, every single time.”
The Field Support team also provides an overview of all FireAngel product ranges, including its advanced Specification Range of devices featuring Smart RF technology, which have been specifically developed to provide installers with an intelligent suite of alarms that can be wirelessly interlinked and continuously upgraded to facilitate remote monitoring to provide complete protection for all.
