Polypipe underfloor heating site support service proves to be a hit amongst installers

The training team at Polypipe Building Products has launched an underfloor heating site support service which has already proved to be a huge hit with installers.

Polypipe’s new support team offers customers the chance to get on-the-job guidance and training that is clear, concise, and from the experts in the field.

So far in 2022 Polypipe’s site support has helped with everything from the advanced features of smart controls and wiring centres to bleeding the primaries on a manifold system.

These onsite training sessions have been on a wide variety of projects from single storey homes to luxury apartments and they have been located everywhere from Bournemouth to Dundee, as well as many other places in between.

Currently the most popular questions are around setting up Smart Controls with new systems. Polypipe Smart Controls can be paired with any Polypipe underfloor heating system. They now offer smartphone app integration and are compatible with most Voice Assistants, for effective hands-free operation.

Training is only part of what is available from the onsite support. The team can help identify issues in systems and back this up with thermal imaging. They will also help to interpret full design documentation to improve and speed up installation.

Dean Asher, Head of Technical and Customer Services at Polypipe Building Products, said: “The new Site Support Service has been a phenomenal success with 10/10 ratings from customers across the board.

“Having an expert onsite has been great for installers but it’s been good for us to get out to see our customers and help them ensure perfect installation of our underfloor heating products.

“It has proved so successful that we are hoping to expand the team even further this year.”
