Southampton Women’s Football Club are pleased to announce that a new sponsorship agreement has been signed with Prysmian Group.
Prysmian Group are the world leader in energy and telecom cable systems with 4 manufacturing sites in the UK and a strong heritage in the local Southampton community, where Prysmian Group have manufactured cable for over 100 years and have established their UK headquarters in Eastleigh, Southampton.
Similarly, Southampton Women’s Football Club have a deep-rooted history and a distinguished local presence being formed in 1970 without a men’s set up, winning the Women’s FA Cup eight times. Southampton Women’s Football Club’s goal, to provide a pathway for young women to progress from youth to senior level football, is aligned with the values and belief’s held at Prysmian Group.
Russ Kitching, SWFC Chairman and local Southampton business owner, enthused “SWFC are delighted to have agreed a one year first team shirt sponsor deal with a company such as Prysmian Group. Both the club and the company have a rich history in the area. This new sponsorship will see the Prysmian Group logo featured on the first team’s home and away kit as well as on SWFC promotional materials, match day programmes and the homepage of the club’s website.
