Friday 5 May 2017 sees electrical installers visit the WAGO headquarters in Rugby, Warwickshire for presentations, product demos and networking.
The first ever meeting of WAGO’s Professional Installer Club features a chance to hear what’s new in the forthcoming 18th Edition wiring regulations by a guest speaker from the NICEIC.
Attendees at the four hour event will also receive product samples and gifts, tips and a tour of the WAGO facility including its modular trunking assembly area.
“Attendees will receive a buffet lunch, a £50 voucher to spend on the WAGO online shop, and a rucksack containing a selection of product samples.”
With the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) due in 2018 this is particularly timely, providing guests an insight into some of the changes expected. The goal of the event is to help installers enhance their skills, and demonstrate how WAGO’s wiring offering can save time, effort and money, whilst staying within the regulations.
Interest in the event has been high, and representatives from up to 30 companies are expected to attend. As well as getting hands on with WAGO’s latest products, guests are invited to test and offer feedback on ideas and prototypes yet to hit the market.
The club, which has a membership of over 5,500 contracting electricians, offers exclusive insights into the latest wiring technologies available from WAGO, discounts on selected ranges and training sessions on products.
Attendees will receive a buffet lunch, a £50 voucher to spend on the WAGO online shop, and a rucksack containing a selection of product samples. There will also be a guided tour of the site, giving installers a chance to see the company’s production areas up close. WAGO UK & Ireland Managing Director Tony Hoyle will be on hand to answer any questions.
“We have capped the numbers attending the event to 30, primarily because of limitations at our site,” explains Paul Witherington, UK & Ireland Marketing Manager, WAGO UK. “However, such is the interest in this event that we are already planning a larger meeting at the Ricoh Stadium in Coventry for later in the year.”
The Professional Installer Club gives members a direct channel to WAGO, allowing them to get up close with new products, receive special offers and discounts, and network with fellow professionals at events across the country.
