SOFAR, the leading provider of all-scenario PV & ESS solutions, is set to increase its market presence in the UK.
Following its market strategy in other countries, the company is further strengthening its local team and has announced its presence at Solar & Storage Live 2023, the UK’s most prominent renewable energy fair. The fair is a perfect opportunity for installers to interact with SOFAR products and learn more about the solutions, with a focus on residential and C&I storage solution.
PowerAll – Reliable energy storage for your household
Last year saw the release of the SOFAR PowerAll, the company’s residential all-in-one energy storage solution, with an integrated hybrid inverter. Equipped with advanced features, including flexible battery capacity expansion and a smart battery management system, the PowerAll has become one of SOFAR’s most popular solutions. With a power output from 3 to 6 kW and a storage capacity from 5 to 30 kWh, the PowerAll has enabled energy storage for households across the world and thereby effectively lowered their energy bills.
PowerIn – Maximising rooftop value
This year SOFAR launched the PowerIn, its latest energy storage solution for C&I applications. There has been a significant increase in the demand for energy storage solutions in C&I projects — a trend that will continue over the next years. With the launch of PowerIn, users can maximise self-consumption rates and charge and discharge at the optimal time. This way they can save costs and play an important role in the energy transition.
The PowerIn features pack-level active balancing, which increases the useable battery energy by 5%. Equipped with a PID recovery function and other advanced safety devices, it comes with optimal safety. Another key feature is its modular design combined with maintenance-free spare batteries for direct replacement. This significantly lowers labour costs and initial investment.
SOFAR 100-125KTLX-G4 – Empowering C&I and small-scale utility projects
Through the integration of industry-leading technology, the inverter series is tailored to meet the latest, highest standards in the market. Optimized for C&I and small-scale utility solar, the SOFAR 100-125KTLX-G4 is equipped with 10 MPP trackers and is compatible with 40 A high-current modules. The inverter also comes with AFCI protection. Featuring an advanced safety design, the inverter weighs only 75 kg, allowing for easy handling on-site. The unique drawer design, with plug-in terminals that are accessible without opening the cover, makes maintenance easier and improves the user experience.
Strengthening local presence
Following the significant success of the company’s global strategy over the last few years, with a focus on local presence, SOFAR has also established its first regional office in Oxford.
“We have significantly increased our presence in the UK market and continue to build on long-standing partnerships. This of course comes with more responsibilities,” says Allen Cao, Head of SOFAR Europe. With a growing local team and office, SOFAR ensures optimal customer service and improved responsiveness to local market needs.
After the exhibition, the team will hit the roads in the UK and Ireland with its roadshow van. “The roadshow is a concept that has proven to be full of benefits time and again,” says Jaroslaw Kowalski, Marketing Manager of SOFAR Europe, “The interactive nature allows installers to familiarise themselves with our solutions and get hands-on experience with our products.”
SOFAR’s upcoming activities show the company’s commitment to supporting the UK’s energy transition and its drive to play a key role.
